Kobe Bryant is a leading member of the United States Olympic Basketball Team heading into the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics.  He will be counted on for scoring, leadership and overall poise.  His rookie year was in 1996-97.  Some of his best rookie cards from the year 1996-97 include the following: 1996-97 Topps Chroms basketball cards #138, rookie card.  Wow!  This card is very valuable and highly sought after, especially in gem mint graded condition.  1996-97 Upper Deck rookie card #58 is a great rookie basketball card of Kobe Bryant.  1996-97 Fleer Ultra Kobe Bryant rookie card #52 is great as well.  1996-97 Topps Finest #74 and the refractor parallel of that card and of the Topps Chrome rookie have very high book values and are routine sellers for high amounts on Ebay.
