Star Company produced basketball card sets in limited quantities from the years 1983-86.  Michael Jordan's first card produced by a major set is included in 1984-85 Star Company basketball cards and it came in the bagged Chicago Bulls team set.  Graded versions of the card and the team set are preferred as counterfeits run rampant with a card that can easily sell for thousands of dollars in top condition.

Here is a list of Michael Jordan rookie cards from Star Company Basketball.  Included on here will be cards that are technically second year star cards but that still come before the 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie and that should be considered some of his best cards in existence.  Watch out for counterfeits and buy graded versions when possible, but if you do your homework you should be able to find a good deal on authentic cards.  On this page will be his rookies listed for sale.
